Brand story

Planet Finska is the brainchild of two Sydney dads who love the outdoors and playing games. In 2009, their Finnish friend introduced them to the Finska game and they were instantly hooked, albeit surprised to see it wasn't available here in Australia. Our fantastic climate and easy going competitive spirit suits the Finska game perfectly.

How to play? Finska's rules are so simple that anyone can learn to play in minutes. Not only are the Finska rules simple, setting up Finska is so easy you can play it anywhere.

Thought Planet Finska only made the Finska game? Think again. Planet Finska makes a wide range of high quality indoor and outdoor games from wood.

Kubb is also very popular.  Kubb is equally deserving of "classic game" status as Finska.  We can't decide which game we like more...  it's just good old fashioned fun for people of all ages.

    Fantastic Game

This is a fun and mindful game, and this is a beautiful presentation of it in quality wood. I know it will last a long long time and bring many hours of fun. While the game is designed for 2, I enjoy mindfully playing around with it by myself as well.

    Kalaha! Great Family Game.

We purchased this with no idea how to play. It has become our family favourite - we have big Kalaha Comps

Great to take anywhere and beautifully made.

I love it but the plastic packaging, really?

I'm so happy I can have a childhood game again but the plastic wrapping it was covered in was sort of unnecessary to have.

Good game but is plastic wrapped

Everyone loved the game. Unfortunately, it came wrapped in plastic both on the outside and on the inside, separating the halves. This was completely unnecessary as it's designed to close in half, encasing the pieces, and providing it's own case. This was disappointing, but otherwise it was well made and durable.
