Lil' Bit Bee Seed Bombs. Bee Seed Bombs are balls of organic matter impregnated with flower seeds that will blossom into beautiful flowers and feed our little friends, the bees. Simply toss anywhere that needs a splash of colour and watch them bloom.

Features

Contains a mix of organic annuals to be sown throughout spring and summer. 6 seed bombs in a linen drawstring bag.

Bees are one of the most important creatures on our planet and we rely on them for almost two thirds of our food. Bee populations are under threat due to the use of agricultural chemicals including the ones we use in our own back yards. These seed bombs are designed to provide bees with a healthy habitat so they can collect pollen and nectar for the hive.

Each Bee Seed Bomb contains clay to protect the seeds from birds and insects until germination; organic soil; mushroom fertilizer to give the seeds food; and a seed mix of non invasive species. Varieties include:

  • Calendula, Cornflower, Californian Poppy, Fineflower, Toadflax, Alyssum, Wallflower, Nemophila, Poppy, Marigold African, Chinese Forget-Me-Not, Borage, Evening Primrose, Lavender, Native Violet (Native), Pink & White Everlasting Daisy (Native), Swan River Daisy (Native), Sage, and Bee Balm.

6 Seed Bombs. Each ball is approx. 1 inch in diameter and comes in a beautiful, linen, drawstring bag. Safe to send Australia wide.

    Bee bomb

I am so excited to start my bee seed bomb. Bees are such an important insect in our world and we owe it to nature to encourage them into our gardens and our lives. What a glorious little invention!

    great way to "plant" flowers

I like the fact that these can be easily put in the garden and that they are supplied in a natural fabric bag.

    I'm a gardener now!

I am generally not very good with plants, but after plopping my bee seed bombs into some pots I was suddenly a gardener! I nudged my lil' bombs down into the soil a little and after a few days of heavy rain, they all sprang to life. Now, weeks later, the biggest plants have grown to about 10cm high and have lovely little white flowers. Haven't seen any bees yet, but am hoping they will come soon!
