When Mike and Andrea Jessop's son was born in 1982, he suffered from eczema, congestion and all sorts of ailments. After a while, Andrea worked out that switching dairy out of his diet allowed him to start recovering from his conditions. Unfortunately for their son, this meant he had to stay away from chocolate!

Fast forward to 2007, Andrea and Mike are selling chocolates on the internet. They start to receive a few emails saying that customers would love to make a purchase but their children have dietary requirements.

Mike and Andrea couldn't believe this was still going on. So, they decided to do something about it. In 2008, they started selling alternative milk chocolate eggs, advent calendars and more.

After a few more years of tweaking recipes and countless taste tests, Moo Free was officially born in 2010. And the rest is history.
