Booloumba Creek, QLD

Mia loves the Booloumba Creek area of Conondale National Park in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. There is a beautiful freshwater creek to swim in, and waking up to the sound of birds and the smell of the rainforest is one of the best feelings ever! Hiking through Conondale National Park is a treat too, with elaborate bower bird nests and other animals to spot.

Michele's favourite spot for a quick natural escape is to Burleigh Heads on Queensland's Gold Coast. Wandering through the Burleigh Heads National Park will allow you to explore a living museum of plants, and you might even spot a humpback whale if it's the right time of year! Finish the walk off with a chilled picnic on Burleigh foreshore relax on Echo Beach.
